Timber is the oldest material used in housing, appreciated for its aesthetic value, durability, practical considerations and functionality, and also as a natural product it is available in nature in vast array of types. It allows for unlimited interior arrangement options and guarantees aesthetic finish. For our clients we recommend timber windows made in IV68 and IV88 systems. Windows are made in any shape and size.
Because of their looks timber windows are often treated as furniture. They are chosen to fit with their shape and colours not only to the elevation but also to the interior decoration elements. Timber windows must, as opposed to furniture, resist various atmospheric conditions, humidity, wind. Therefore their durability is extremely important which is dependent both on the material used and the design of the profile from which the windows are made and also their finish.
Parts of the joinery are made of timber are glued together in three layers of counter flowing growth rings which are in turn bonded together with the used of pins or finger joints – bonding method is dependent on the use of specific elements, which results in a very stable construction, resilient to atmospheric conditions which eliminates the affect of warping and bending of elements. Timber windows are characterizes by a very low heat transfer coefficient k, which means that timber frames do not conduct heat from room to the outside. Using those windows is a very good investment since they allow to save up in heating costs which are a large portion of house upkeep costs.
Window offered by us are available in a wide range of solid and azure colours, flashing out the natural structure of wood.
